I know here lately I have been talking money this and money that, but that’s not how this all started! Today I wanted to bring this post and a couple more like it more to the dedication of the mom community side.
With that being said, I wanted to bring up what has been the BIGGEST feat in our house and for Jasper. I have been wanting to wait to post our story because I was still kind of shocked that it even worked.
My son has been very back and forth on wanting to try to use the restroom since he originally turned three years old. I kept missing the biggest sign all day to know that my son was ready.
Though in truth the story is really simple, I had my son put on a brand new pair of underwear I got him one morning and then was told that to make sure he didn’t get them wet we needed to use the “big kid potty”. By God, it took eight hours later but he finally went!

That’s All It Took?
For me, yes. For other moms, I can tell you how I have heard some stories. Which is okay and to be expected because all children are different.
I can’t tell you how many times I have seen pictures of my nephews with their training potty seats everywhere. I will only give one simple piece of advice that I wish I took a bit more to heart cause this is a hard task to help your kids and there is no reason to feel defeated.
Jasper just suddenly decided that he didn’t want to be wet anymore. That was the biggest moment that I knew that we were not going to give up until he made it happen. I wanted to share this because even with all the personal things I’m trying to grow, I had the most proud mom moment and just wanted to remind some of you moms as well. Don’t pull all your hair out yet, you’re beautiful and these kiddos are slowly learning. Try some cheerios and comment below to tell me how it went!
